Obituary of William Queenen

Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
William "BBQ" Queenen was born July 11, 1945. Bill joined his deceased parents Abe and Esther on January 4, 2013. He is survived by his wife, soul mate and best friend of 38 years, Barbara. Bill was born in Los Angeles and lived in the surrounding area most of his life. He and Barb moved to Lake Havasu 10 years ago where he could enjoy all the things he loved: boating, fishing, shooting and racing. BBQ loved Lake Havasu because it fit his laid-back attitude. BBQ's easy going, yet no-nonsense personality allowed him to share many good times with many great friends. He was a CPA and a very intelligent man, who possessed a very logical approach to life. BBQ was loved and respected by many and will be missed. A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on January 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu in BBQ's name. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to William's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
