William "Bill" Moore, 86, passed away March 12, 2018 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born in Anderson, Indiana to Wilfred and Bernice Moore. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Deanna, and their beloved pup Precious; and nephew Thomas Moore of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Bernice and brother, Richard Moore.
Bill attended Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana and Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana He retired after a 31-year career with Beckman Instruments in 1988, at which time he and Deanna moved to Lake Havasu City. He was a long-time member of the Elks Lodge. He and Deanna traveled by RV to every state in the United States over the past 10 years. They also enjoyed beach living at their second home in Newport Beach, California.
As requested, there will be no services. Instead, Bill wanted to be remembered as happy and carefree. He said many times that he had enjoyed a blessed life and that he had strived to be a good son, husband and friend. He accomplished these things in his lifetime, and he will indeed be remembered for his friendly smile and happy sense of humor.
Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Whittier, California Lakeview Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's honor can be made to the American Heart Association, Humane Society of Havasu and Hospice of Havasu. Bill admired these organizations and would appreciate any support given to their endeavors.
