There are few experiences more difficult than losing a loved one to death. I find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed.
God’s word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
Further the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary because Jesus spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), was himself resurrected by his Father and he performed many miracles. All such miraculous events, including resurrections, took place on earth giving us a glimpse of what is to come! (Acts 24:15)
Until his promises are fulfilled, may Jehovah God continue to bless all who knew Mrs. Marshall now and in the days ahead.....
