It is obvious from the kind expressions that Mrs. Barry will be sadly missed by all who knew her. I find comfort in knowing the restoration of life is guaranteed. Jesus spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), was himself resurrected by his Father and he performed many miracles. All such miraculous events, including resurrections, took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
Knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind provides comfort as well. His word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
May Jehovah God continue to bless your family during this difficult time & in the days to come as we await the fulfillment of his promises......

Lisa, I am so saddened and sorry to hear of your mothers passing. My mom shared the same birth year and she passed December 14 2017. There’s no way to know what this kind of loss feels like until it happens. She had a beautiful smile just like you do. I will pray for you to find peace and healing in this troubling time. Such a beautiful person. The limited times I saw and spoke to her in the shipyard were always special and mostly about you "Bear" who she loved so much.
