.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; their three children, Jennifer Luzzi, Jeff Dreisbach, Scott (Kristin) Dreisbach; his seven grandsons, Garrett, Logan, Taylor, Peyton , Trent, Devin, and Dane; sister, Diane Whitmore, of California; uncle, Fr. Charles Dreisbach, of Oregon.
Gordon was born October 19, 1936, raised in Los Angeles, California and completed his Catholic education in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, California. He served his country in the Army as a Paratrooper.
He became a stockbroker after his Army service, then an investment counselor and real estate developer and property manager.
He and Linda spent 28 years on a small horse ranch in Acton, California where their three children were raised. He was President of both the local School Board and Little League. He loved traveling in the family motorhome, snow skiing in the winter and water skiing in Lake Havasu in the summers, and then later, traveling with Linda and friends in the motorhome to golf courses across the western United States. After their children left for College and then on to jobs, they moved to Lake Havasu in the late 1980’s and became members of the London Bridge Golf Course. Golf there became his passion and he played as often as he could, making many dear friends. During the early 1990’s he was active in the Lake Havasu Chamber and PED. He was a wonderful, loving, husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be so terribly missed.
There will be a remembrance Celebration and gathering of family and friends on March 31 at Lake Havasu Golf Club (formerly London Bridge Golf Course) at 5:00 p.m.
