Dr. Diehl was our sons' pediatrician since they were born. Due to their severe asthma, he was humble enough to take advice and partner with their specialty docs in Phoenix, never assuming he knew more than they did, which was such a help to us on multiple occasions when they were very ill.
He was a great friend to our little family, even sponsoring my (late) husband John's car when he raced out at Sara Park Raceway. He even came out to a couple races, which was very cool.
Lake Havasu has lost the most caring, humble, and selfless physician and human.
Rest in peace, good Doctor. Our sincere condolences to his family, friends and former office staff.

Dr. Diehl will be truly missed. He watched over our children and always made us feel at ease. He diagnosed and hospitalized my son at 4 years old. It is obvious from the many kind expressions that Dr. Diehl will be sadly missed by all who knew him. I find comfort in knowing the restoration of life is guaranteed. Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles. All such miraculous events, including resurrections, took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
Further, death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. His word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
As you reflect on the many fond memories of Dr. Diehl, may Jehovah God continue to bless your family during this difficult time & in the days to come...

Sending my deepest condolences to Dr. Diehl's family and friends. Dr. Diehl was the pediatrician for all three of my girls when we lived in Lake Havasu, from birth until we moved out of state. We were very sad to hear that his health had declined. We are so grateful to have known him. He was a source of wisdom and guidance when I was a new mom. His bedside manner was second to none. He was present during all three of my c-section deliveries, always with a calming, yet personable presence. He loved his practice, and we loved having him for a doctor. Rest in peace Dr. Diehl.

I remember always going into Dr. Diehl’s office. It was never a bad experience and I always loved talking to him because he had good stories and especially when it came to getting shots, he would always talk to me and before you knew it, the shots were done and I hadn’t felt a thing. He was so full of life and truly a blessing. Although I am an adult and haven’t seen him since I was about 15 or so, I do feel a hole in my heart to learn about his passing which shows the impact that he not only had on me, but had on the entire community. He will be missed and my prayers go out to his family.

So sorry for you’re loss Dr.Diehl was a wonderful man and was an amazing pediatrician always very kind and gentle with both of my children .He will be greatly missed.We moved from Havasu 5 years ago so sorry we can’t attend his service but our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.Something I want to share our son who is now 21 joined the Coast Guard and I know Dr.Diehl would be very proud of the young man he has become.

I have been honored and blessed in knowing such a man. Working with him in OB was some of my fondest memories of my nursing career in Havasu. Sorry for your loss. Dr. Diehl trained with me at house of samurai for years. Was good friends with our sensei, Master Frank Shilosky. We did a lot of cane training together.
