DOUGLAS ALAN HASSLEN Douglas Alan Hasslen passed away on January 11, 2013 at the age of 70 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Douglas was born on October 16, 1942 in Belgrade, MN to Harlan Boyd Hasslen and Helen Edith Dennis Cummens. Douglas was a member at St. Michael's Methodist Church; Jasper Masonic Lodge in Rush City, MN and a member of the Eagles; he went to Rush City, MN High School; University of Minnesota with a double major in Agriculture Economics and Agriculture Business; worked 42 years at USDA Nass; President of Board at Lake Havasu City Senior Center; Mohave County of Health and delivered Meals on Wheels. Douglas is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda K. Hasslen of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Kevin Hasslen (Jeanine) of Damascus, OR; daughter Melissa Meikle (Duque) of Santa Cruz, CA; sister Kathy Perreault (Gary) of Carrollton, TX and 4 grandsons, Ian, Zachary, Philip and Hunter. Funeral Services will be held at St. Michael's Methodist Church on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Michael Bryant as the officiant. Donations can be made in Douglas' name to Lake Havasu Meals on Wheels or Hospice of Havasu.
