Obituary of Mary Ellen Hine

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Mary Ellen Hine, 88, of Ramona, California, passed away on January 23, 2018. She was born in Medina, Ohio to Frank and Cleo Stephenson (Evert).

Mary met Edward Jacob Hine, and it was love at first sight. Edward and Mary spent over 26 loving years together before he went to be with the Lord in 1992. As a member of the 700 club, the Lord and Mary's family was her passion. Her life was devoted to caring for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Mary's family was so closely knit together that she saw all of them as her own kids.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Hine; parents, Frank and Cleo Stephenson; son, Robert "Bobby" Sohl; and siblings, Helen, Dorthey "Dot," Robert and Eugene.

Mary is survived by her sons, Gary Sohl and Michael "Scott" Hine; daughters, Linda Knepple and Cathy McGaughey; step-daughter, Connie Rupanovic, and grandchildren, John, Sarah, Kayli, Kory, Emily, Lexie, Tammy, Jim, Tim, Shawn, Stacey, Lisa, and Casey.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com. To send a FREE card to the family, go to www.sendoutcards.com/lietzfraze.
