Obituary of Flossie A Hanson

Flossie Arlene (Kinnaird) Hanson aged 88 of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away peacefully Friday, January 5, 2018 with two of her loving daughters, her Hero Wayne, and family members by her side.
She was born October 17, 1929 In Thayer, Iowa. She was the daughter of Vern Elijah and Imo Kinnaird, the eighth of their eleven children. Flossie married Eugene (Gene) Hanson in June, 1948, at the age of eighteen. They remained married living in Iowa, Nebraska, Washington, California and Nevada prior to settling in Arizona. Gene passed in November, 2016.
Flossie worked in the Aerospace Industry in California until she retired in 1976. She also tried her hand in farming. Flossie loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She also enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling with her beloved Gene. She liked watching football, baseball, playing bingo, dominoes and cards. She was also an avid reader.
Flossie is survived by her four loving children, Patricia Wright, Susan Johnston, Kathy Lambert and Steven Hanson; grandchildren, David Smith, Robert Wright, Wayne Wright, Jeffrey Johnston, Summer Johnston Costello, John Lambert, Jason Lambert, Cameron Hanson and Christian Hanson; great grand-children, Riley, Carter, Kiele, Kaela, Luke, Jaylee, Drake, Jessica, Robert, Jordan, Landen, Sarah and Holly. Flossie devoted her life to her family which also included her sons-in-law, Robert Wright, William Johnston, and her Hero Wayne Lambert, as well as her daughter-in-law, Anne Hanson.
Flossie is now reunited with her soul mate, Gene. On this earth she will be missed by her loving family and friends. "Rest together in peace, Mom and Dad."
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Hospice of Havasu.
