Family of Kaye Gregory,
There are few things more difficult than experiencing the loss of a loved one and no doubt Mrs. Gregory will be sadly missed. I too have endured such a loss and find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed.
God’s word says 'death is an enemy' and promises it will be 'brought to nothing'. (1Corinthians 15:26) Further, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8). So, God guarantees the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary. (Revelation 21:4). It is because of Jehovah God’s purpose and great love for us, that he guarantees the restoration of life.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life...” ( John 11:25) As you know, Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrections. All resurrections took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
As you cherish the many fond memories of Mrs. Gregory, may Jehovah God continue to bless your family in the days to come......
