Obituary of Claudell Katherine Giesbers
Please share a memory of Claudell to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Claudell Katherine Patzkowski Giesbers, of Lake Havasu City, met Jesus on November 25, 2017 at the age of 75.
Claudell's journey began on June 2, 1942 in Reedley, California. She graduated from Pacific University, earning a Bachelor degree in music education. She loved teaching young musicians how to play the piano, violin, and viola.
She met her husband of 29 years, Eldon Anthony Giesbers in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1982. "Claudie" was an exceptional wife but an even more amazing mother to her two daughters, Pamela and Sherrill. She loved playing the piano, stringed instruments, and also percussion instruments in her chamber groups. Musical theater pit orchestras, and community groups. She enjoyed many hobbies including reading, hiking, rock hounding, and sewing.
Claudell was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church since moving to Lake Havasu City in February of 2010. She never hesitated to help someone and will always be remembered as being selfless, kind, and softhearted.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday…unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and very dear.
"We are all visitors to the place-we are just passing through. Our purpose is to observe, to learn, to grow, and to love…and then we return home." –Australian Proverb.
