Peter "Pete" Grohmann, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on November 21, 2017. He was born on November 29, 1959 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to his parents, Rudolph and Rosa Grohmann. He was 57 years of age.
Born and raised in Canada, he attended and graduated from Westwood High School in Malton, Ontario, Canada. It was in 1979 that he decided to move so he made his journey across the map and found his way to beautiful Lake Havasu City, Arizona in which he would make his permanent residence for the rest of his life.
Pete met a beautiful woman, Sarah, and on March 1, 1986, in Lake Havasu City, the two were united in marriage where they would spend the next 31 wonderful years together. Pete was employed at Safeway Grocery Store for 33 years, where he made a lot of friends with his customers and fellow co-workers. Everyone found a friend in Pete. After he retired from Safeway, he decided to take on a new venture, working at Roadrunner Automotive for 3 years.
Pete enjoyed many things in life; sports (especially football, baseball, and NASCAR), he loved to go boating, off roading, single action shooting, working on cars, and most of all, spending time with his family.
January 17, 2003 was a happy and proud day for him as that was the day Pete became an American Citizen.
