Obituary of Ruby Ashby

Ruby Ashby, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on November 17, 2017. She was born on March 4, 1924 in Rockmart, Georgia to her parents Moses and Elsie King. She was 93 years of age.

Ruby had many interests that she enjoyed throughout her lifetime. Of those, Sewing and Bible studies were among her favorite, however, it was spending time with her family and grandchildren that brought her the most joy in her life. They were her world.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Kleban Ashby; parents, Moses and Elsie King; siblings, David, J.W., Ruth, Rachael, and Gene.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Rose Morris, of Lake Havasu City; brother, Sonny King, of Dana Point, California; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1:00pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
