Obituary of James Preston

JAMES STEWART PRESTON James Stewart Preston passed away on January 18, 2013 at Lake Havasu Regional Hospital. He was born October 8, 1940 to Stewart K. and Jo (Hastings) Preston in Los Angeles, California. After graduation from High School Jim joined the Navy where he served until he was honorably discharged in 1963. Jim retired from Publishers Engraving Co, Arleta, California in 2007. He and his wife, Nancy then moved to Lake Havasu City. Jim was a member of the American Legion, a member and tireless volunteer of the VFW Post 9401 Men's Auxiliary. Jim is survived by his loving wife Nancy; step-son Larry (Marie) Woodruff of Overlin, Ohio; step-daughter Beverly Woodruff of Wentzville, Missouri; step-daughter Sherie Snider of Salisbury, North Carolina; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will take place at the VFW Post 9401 on Saturday, February 9th, 2013 at 2 PM.
