Please share a memory of Myrna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Myrna Louise Larsen went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2017 after a long battle with Scleroderma. She was born Myrna Louise Farrell to Clifford Mack Farrell and Louise Cottone in Glendale, California on March 15, 1938.
Myrna attended Glendale High School where she met her future husband, Leroy C. Larsen. The couple were married on August 11, 1956. Myrna had three sons, Mark Edward Larsen, Martin Kevin Larsen and Michael Rodney Larsen. The family lived in La Crescenta, California where Myrna became active in the local PTA, the La Crescenta Juniors Women's Club and did volunteer work with youth. She became a teacher aide in the Glendale Unified School District and built a career for the next twenty years working with disadvantaged children in special education. For many years Myrna and Leroy ran a ministry and did charitable work in Tijuana, Mexico with the local orphanages and the homeless. In 1995 Myrna and Leroy retired and moved to Lake Havasu where they made many wonderful new friends. Myrna was active in the Lake Havasu Western Welcome, the Havasu Four Wheelers and their local Church.
She is survived by her husband Leroy, her three sons, their wives, eleven grand children and eight great grand children with one on the way as well as her brother Fred Farrell of Lake Chapala, Mexico.
