Obituary of Inez Micheli

Inez Alma Micheli October 2, 1922 - January 19, 2013 Inez Alma Micheli passed away peacefully at "The Home Is Where The Heart Is" in Lake Havasu City, AZ January 19, at the age of 90, with family and caregivers by her side. Born in Gonzales, CA on October 2, 1922 to Paul and Anna Maria Bedolla. Inez was a graduate of Santa Rosa High School. Worked at Fred's Bakery, Windsor Vineyards, Sunsweet, in addition to many other positions. Inez had many family and friends in Northern, CA (Sonoma County Area) and lived over the last 2 years near her oldest daughter, Sandee, in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She loved bowling, bocce, cards, camping, dancing, and enjoyed life to its fullest. Her friends were especially important to her, and she frequently drove them to appointments and helped out in any way possible .She was a beautiful, vivacious, happy, caring and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be forever missed. As a beloved friend stated, "With love, all things endure, for though they may pass from this earth, they live in the hearts of those who loved them". Her passion was cooking. Inez loved to entertain at home, and was proud of the old family recipes, some which went back decades and she knew by heart. Even though her mental health had been in decline for years, she never lost her sense of humor, honesty, kindness, patience and love of great stories. Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Micheli, brother, Joseph Bedolla, sister-in-law, Gloria Bedolla, son-in- law, Gus Scherer, and her parents, Paul & Anna Maria Bedolla. Inez is survived by her loving daughter, Sandee Scherer, Lake Havasu City, AZ; Ken Reiman, San Francisco, CA; Nancy Gasser (David), Clayton, ID; stepsons Cliff Micheli (Barb) Geyserville, CA; Ed Micheli, Windsor, CA; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was previously married to Walter Reiman, the father of her children, for 29 years. Our special thanks to Bruce, Staci, Donna, Katrina & Jamie of "Home Is Where The Heart Is", and Hospice of Havasu and their marvelous Staffs; as well as, Dr. Kristy Whelan, and her nurse Linda, of Cornerstone Family Healthcare. The Celebration of Inez's Life will be held in Healdsburg, CA, in late March, 2013.
