Louis P. Seliquini, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away October 25, 2017. He was born December 13, 1929 in Havertown, Pennsylvania to parents, Camillo and Cherisa Seliquini. He was 87 years of age.

 

Raised in Pennsylvania, Lou served in the US Army during the Korean War. Soon after his military discharge, he met the love of his life, Dolores, and moved to Newtown Square. He devoted 63 years to Dolores in marriage. In 1974, they moved to Lake Havasu City and resided here ever since. He was employed by McCulloch Corporation for 20 years. H e retired in 1997.

 

His family was the cornerstone of his life. His heart was as big as his family. He was proud of his children and grandchildren. He made them all feel special. He brought joy to friends/family at picnics, barbeques, and reunions. Lou loved to play the accordion for his family/friends. He enjoyed dancing the Jitterbug with Dolores. Together they could really cut a rug, and winning some dance contests. He loved sports, especially baseball, and was a true "dad" to many countless kids through years of coaching Little League and remained active well into retirement. He had a zest for life, loved to laugh, sing, and whistle, especially at work, and made others laugh. He was a real practical joker but above all, he was a great father, family man, and friend who embodied the ideals of love, integrity, and charity.

 

He is survived and loved by his wife, Dolores; 9 children, Louann, John, Annette, Nancy, Lorie, Denise, Louis P. Jr. Cheryl, and Michael; 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Antoinette, and many other family members.

 

Visitation for Lou will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral home on Friday, November 3 at 5:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be at Our Lady of the Lake on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1:00pm.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu. The family wishes to thank the caring and compassionate caregivers at Gems Assisted Living and also Hospice of Havasu.
