Ron Priscilla passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on August 24, 2017. Ron was born on February 19, 1942 in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
He graduated from Marquette University and the Officers Training School at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. He completed his flight training at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. Ron was proud to have served in the US Navy as a lieutenant Commander and on the USS Kitty Hawk. After retiring from the Navy in Hawaii and moving to San Diego, Ron worked for SAIC (Science Applications International Corp.) In 1993 he retired to Lake Havasu, where he worked as a certified Mercury boat mechanic at Lakeland Marine. Ron enjoyed boating, camping, off-roading and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Priscilla; her daughter, Kristie and son in law Wes; three step- grandchildren, Hailee, Wyatt, and Aubree. Ron is also survived by his three children; Stephen (Jody), Kathleen, and Michael Devon; brother, Jim (Linda); grandson, Reid; niece, Carrie Boyd and her son Brody and nephew, Jim Jr.
A memorial will be held on October 13, 2107 at 2pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent in Ron's name to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Organization at dav.org.
