Curtis Max Otto Kuebler passed away on September 8, 2017 in Lake Havasu City. He was born in Unterensingen, Germany on May 16, 1925 to Emil and Frieda Kuebler. Curtis graduated from Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, New Jersey, after which he enlisted in the Unites States Navy where he had a 24 year career; retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He then took on a second 20 year career with Unisys Corporation in Minneappolis, Minnesota. In 1994, he and his wife, Emma Sue, retired to Lake Havasu City, where he was active in golfing and as Calvary Baptist Church Chaplain. Curtis was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Fleet Reserve Association. Curtis is survived by his wife, Lois Garrett Kuebler, and children, Ann Marie Tosh, Tamara Hess, Steve Morley, Dana Garrett, Charles Garrett, and Patrick Garrett. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Frieda Kuebler; deceased wives, Emma Sue Kuebler and Virginia Morley Kuebler. Services will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 1605 S. McCulloch Blvd., Lake Havasu City, Arizona on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 2:00pm. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
