Charles (Jack) was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Dr. Lester C. Rees and Alta M. Rees. He was raised in Millersville, Pennsylvania, and graduated from high school in 1946. He continued his education and graduated from Millersville Teacher's College in 1950. He left Pennsylvania after accepting a teaching position in Richland, Washington. There he met and married Marie Lampe in 1952. They had two children, Gary and Gail. After 30 years of teaching Industrial Arts in Richland and Bellevue Washington, he retired. Jack and Marie moved to Lake Havasu City in 1990. Jack was active in the Golden Kiwanis and was Lt. Governor and President of the club. Jack and Marie were also very active members at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Jack was kind and always helpful to everyone. He is survived by his son; Gary (Alida); daughter, Gail (Norman); granddaughters, Ana (John), Brandy (Nathan); grandson, Jason and five great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will on at 11:00am, on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
