We the family Van Echten's are very sadden to have read of the passing of Mike, Our condolences to Diane and Michele, Janson and spouses. I known Mike when I was a teenager I liked him a lot, he was a great neighbor in Harbor City Woobbury Dr. He thought me a lot of things about growing up and always work hard like he did and most of all be a good person. The stranges thing was that I had a dream about Mike and Diane recently like it was old time and it made me happy, so I started looking up this wonderful family on the Internet and that's when I read about Mike. Mike RIP. I am not happy about the news but happy to have meant you and Diane you both where great people the dream I recently had with you Mike and Diane brought many memory back like it was 40 years ago. It's been a long time, Mike you may been gone but the memory's you left behind with many people will always been cherished. Love always Danny W. Van Echten

Even though I did not know Mike very well, the times I was around him, he was so nice to me and so happy. I looked forward to his teasing me every year at Christmas time about putting my lights up. His spirit was catching. I actually did put up more and more lights every year to try to keep up with his elaborate decorations which he put so much time and love into. I will miss seeing him and cannot imagine the great loss to your family. I pray that your love and memories will be of comfort to you during this sad time.
