Dad I miss you so very much, I am back home with Mom as you know and it has been crazy with 3 dogs, your Freyja kitty and a snake which Mom has been tolerating very well along with lots of activity. I feel your presence here and its very comforting. I sit in your chair next to mom and its like a hug from you, we all miss and think about you all the time. When I hear the thunder I know you are speaking to me, when we have a fire I know you are with us in warm spirit. When mom is missing you I will hug her extra tight. Don the Mentor. In his presence I felt the desire to be a better person. He was a teacher that attracted respect and had wisdom beyond his years. And oh that smile! Until just last October I would not have been able to imagine your pain during this time. Now, even though we may feel this hole in our hearts that will never be filled I hope we can all take comfort in the thought that Don and my Dad are likely having a good ol' time up there; cracking witty jokes and reminiscing about the theatre days. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I was 17 in New York for the first time when I met this wonderful couple, Betty and Don. Each took one hand and I still remember their warmth and joy which has followed our meetings ever since both in Iceland and when I have visited them in Lake Havasu City. They are my family and will always be. Don has always been most helpful and very keen on the idea that I would join them in Arizona or in the nearest area. I am sorry not being able to join for the Mass but we will be joined in spirit and my mind will be with you all. See you others in my family in 3 weeks time.
