Obituary of Kathy Woolsey

Kathleen Marie Woolsey “Kathy” passed away on August 17, 2017 at the age of 75 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Arthur and Alda (Mathews) Bottolfsen on February 1, 1942 in Coleridge, Nebraska.

Kathy married Charles “Chuck” Woolsey on March 21, 1970 and they shared 47 loving years together. She was a female pilot with a multi-engine rated license as well as earning her license in a C130. She loved to fly. For 25 years, Kathy sold real estate here in Lake Havasu City. She was a member of the Female Republicans and the 99 Women’s Flying Group.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; Arthur and Alda Bottolfsen.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Woolsey; her sons, Bradley (Kelly) Dirks and Todd (Dawn) Dirks; her daughter, Tracie Lopez; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
