Good afternoon, My name is Kania and I am the Director of Legal Aid for the Colorado River Indian Tribes in Parker, Arizona. Phil Krueger was one of the attorneys who worked as a referral or conflict attorney for our office; taking cases that we could not handle directly. I am very saddened at his passing. I am pleased that I had the opportunity to work with him (sometimes as opposing counsel). He was a great advocate for his clients, and a tremendous man. His absence is already felt; and he shall be missed. On behalf of our office, I would like to express our condolences to his friends and family on his passing.

I am truly sorry for the Kruegar's loss of Phillip. He was the sweetest young man when I was his nanny on the farm in Kansas in 1969 and 1970. I kept in touch with his mom until her passing, and will always remember the kindness she and the other family members showed me as a small child and as a grown woman.
