Obituary of Eddie Leon Gaut

Eddie Leon Gaut, 78, of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, passed away May 3, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Eddie was born on February 3, 1939 in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee to his parents, Tommy Joe and Peggie Gaut. Eddie graduated from Colegio Ponceno de Varones Ponce, Puerto Rico and from Catholic University in 1964 with a degree in finance. On May 16, 1964 he married Rose Marie Baerga (Rosita) in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Eddie worked in the Aluminum industry from 1964 to 2006. He enjoyed work, research, and boating. Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rose Marie; his two sons, Eddie Gaut and Tommy (Stacie) Gaut; two grandchildren, Roxana and Brennen; sister, Linda (Will) Armstrong; brother, Tommy Joe (Jan) Gaut; sister-in-law, Carmen M. Pares and his nieces and nephews. We all miss him deeply and cherish the honorable man, husband, father, and brother that he was.
