Earl Edward Conley
October 17, 1937 – June 27, 2017
Earl Conley passed away peacefully at Havasu Regional Medical Center on June 27, 2017.
He was born in Providence Rhode Island to Peter & Elizabeth Conley. He remained there until he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1955. He served proudly until 1959 and was honorably discharged.
He held several different jobs and positions until he went to work as an appliance and refrigeration technician for Montgomery Ward, where he remained for 28 years.
In 1981, he met Ann, who became his loving wife of 32 years and they joined two families together.
Earl loved his bowling league and meeting new people and talking about his adventures.
Earl was a member of the Elks 2399 and Eagles 4299. He attended Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Earl is survived by his loving wife, Ann; son, Earl (Jerri) Conley II; step-son, Durk (April) Wiglesworth; daughter, Laura (Tracy) Conley; Step-daughter, Margie (Jim) Miller; brother, John (Diane) Conley; seven grandchildren, Pier Winsemius, Jon and Jeremiah Conley, Scott Buscemi, Steven and Amy Wiglesworth, Durk Wiglesworth II; seven great-grandchildren, Jake, Logan, Zachary, Ada and Jaxon Conley, Gunnar Winsemius and Xavier Rodrigues.
Earl was preceded in death by his father, Peter Conley and mother, Elizabeth Puglia; brothers, George Conley and Ronald Conley and sister, Maureen Bradley.
A service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, in California, on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 2:15pm.
Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
