Obituary of Sylvio Morris LaPierre
Sylvio LaPierre, born May 24, 1926, passed away with friends by his side at Lake Havasu Nursing Center. He was born to Neil and Flavie LaPierre in Van Buren, Maine.
Sylvio proudly served in the Naval Amphibious Force in the South Pacific from 1944-1946.
He enjoyed life to the fullest. Sylvio travelled all over the world and surely made an impression on people wherever he went. Some of his best times were spent with the Havasu 4 Wheelers Club. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Eagles, VFW, and Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
He leaves behind his daughter, Marjorie (James) Russell, grandson, Todd (Kristie) Russell; great-grandsons, Andrew and Ian Russell, all of Caribou, Maine; sisters, Carmella, Carmen, and Jeanette, all of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews and also two dearest friends, Thomas and Tamara Pray, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Sylvio touched the hearts of so many friends and anyone he encountered and will be incredibly missed.

There will be no services per his request. Interment will be in Van Buren, Maine.
