Ronald Parkerson, AKA "Douchebag", of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away on June 10, 2017. He was born on July 8, 1949 in Compton, California to his parents, James and Lillie Parkerson. He was 67 years of age. Ronald was born and raised in Compton, California. He attended and graduated from Lynwood High school in 1967. He then moved to Huntington Beach, California and eventually married the love of his life, Vicki, on December 31, 1977 in Huntington Beach. They made Lake Havasu City, Arizona their permanent residence in 1978. In 1983, Ronald started a toy run for the River Riders Motorcycle Club, located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, which yielded very little participants but steadily grew larger over the years. After 33 years, the River Riders Motorcycle Club annual toy run has been the biggest toy run in Lake Havasu City, Arizona to date, with over 1600 bikes and 4,000 community friends. Ronald was a retired River Rider Motorcycle member. Ronald enjoyed many things in life. He loved motorcycles, telling jokes, spending time with his family and drinking beer. He loved the holiday season in which he passed out candy canes to almost everyone and would wear his Santa Claus hat. He also loved cooking and many of his friends and family loved his cooking as well. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillie Parkerson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Vicki Parkerson; son, Cody (Amber) Parkerson; daughter Misty (Eddie) Paget; sister, Mary (Jim) Lowry and five grandchildren.
