Obituary of Dennis Odean Johnson
Dennis Odean Johnson, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away on June 12, 2017. He was born in Rochester, Minnesota, May 11, 1951 to parents Arden and Vivian Johnson. He was 66 years of age.
Dennis lived in Minnesota until his family moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1966. He graduated from Kingman High School in 1969. Dennis enjoyed competitive skiing in his early days, taking occasional trips to the Avi Casino with family, playing online poker, fishing with his son, enjoying beers with friends, and making small talk with his customers at Smith’s where he was employed in the produce section.
Dennis was a good man who loved his family with all his heart. He was funny and caring soul, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend Karen Meixner; son, Ryan Johnson; step-son, Shawn Whitehead; daughter, Andrea Helart; step-daughter, Sarah Kocher; brother, Rick Johnson , and several grandchildren.
