Dan (Ellis Daniel) Shreve Jr., of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on June 2, 2017. He was born on October 9, 1948 in Sioux City, Iowa to parents, Ellis and Phyllis Shreve. He was 68 years of age.
Dan was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army from 1968 until 1970. After being honorably discharged, he met his love, Conchita, and they were united in Marriage at St. Patrick's Church in North Hollywood, CA on April 29, 1972.
Dan was the owner of Water and Ice in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He loved his business and the customers who fastly became like family to him and his own family. He enjoyed playing pool; he dabbled in building, creating, and playing with toy airplanes and cars; and most importantly he loved spending time with his family. He was a very hard worker and loving husband, father, brother, friend, and also a very proud grandfather and will be greatly missed by all!
He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis D. Shreve Sr.
Dan is survived by his mother, Phyllis Shreve, of Kingman, Arizona; his beloved wife of 45 years, Concepcion Shreve, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; daughters, Corina Portales, of Anaheim, California and Cindy Shreve, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; brother, Michael Shreve, of Huntington Beach, California; sisters, Cherie Schaeffer, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Pam Peterson, of Frazier Park, California, and Patty Miller, of Kingman, Arizona; two grandsons, Aeron Portales and Devon DesRosier-Shreve and 1 granddaughter, Julia Portales.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on June 9, 2017 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home
