WILLIAM R. BOETTINGER
William R. Boettinger, O.D., 82, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2013. New Jersey born and bred, Bill married Jean, his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, in 1953. Bill served two years in the US Army in the Korean war effort (1953 - 1955), then practiced optometry until retiring and heading west with Jean to Lake Havasu in 1990. An avid boater, fisherman, and desert enthusiast, bill was a former member of the Lake Havasu Yacht Club and the Havasu 4-Wheelers.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Jean and daughters Lea (Perkasie, PA) and Janis (Logan, UT).
