Paul Lexa passed away on May 15, 2017. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin to his parents, Charles F. Lexa and Helen Mihel. Paul grew up and lived in Wisconsin in his early years. He married Judith Wilson in March 1958. They had three children and decided to move to California in 1962. Paul graduated from Los Angeles Trade Tech College and became a master plumber. After working in construction and being in the plumbing business, he decided to go to work for Santa Ana School District. Leaving a management position after nine years, he went to work as a Facilities Director for the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, only to retire after 14 years in 2000. He moved to Lake Havasu, and having nothing really to do, he liked to meet people. He was involved with working with boys in California for over 25 years with the Boy Scouts of America and wore many hats. In Havasu, he was involved with Hospice, the County Health Department, American Red Cross, Cancer Society, AARP as a tax aid and Senior Driving Instructor. He was a former President of an AARP chapter. He was a former Navy Reservist, a member of the Eagles, AARP, Senior Center, American Red Cross, and Senior Friends. He loved to travel in his motor home and had visited 49 of the 50 United States. He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Helen Lexa; daughter, Catherine; brother, Charles; wife of 51 years, Judith. He is survived by his sons, Michael and Scott; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel.
