Obituary of Mary Alice Gowin

Mary Alice Gowin, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017.  Mary was born on June 17, 1935 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to parents, Onofre Raymond and Sophia Rose Pacheco.  She was 81 years of age.

Mary was married to Lewis Gowin in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 27, 1970.  She was employed in the casino industry for over 20 years in Customer Service at Sam’s Town, Gold River, and River Palms Casino.   Mary enjoyed going Fishing, traveling, gambling, and most of all, spending time with her family.
 
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Onofre and Sophia Pacheco; her husband, Lewis Gowin; son, Lorenzo “Jesse” Carlos; sisters, Josie Pacheco and Margaret Pacheco; brothers, Johnny Pacheco, Tony Pacheco, Hans George Pacheco, and Tommy Pacheco

She is survived by daughters, Gina Cornett, of Monroe, Michigan, Mary Griffin, of Denver, Colorado, and Susie Hynes, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sons, Joe Carillo, of Torrance, California and Anthony Carlos of Fresno, California; sister, Annie Lanier, of Denver, Colorado; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel, 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86403.
