Obituary of Kenneth Benson

Kenneth "Ken" Eugene Benson, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on May 2, 2017. He was born in Portland, Oregon on December 8, 1948 to his parents Harold and Josephine Benson. He was 68 years of age.

Ken enlisted in the United States Army and was a welder in the shipyard during the Vietnam War. Throughout his life, he lived in Portland, Oregon, Washington State for 30 years, and Lake Havasu City, Arizona for 4 years. He met Janice and they were united in marriage in Hawaii in 1994.

Ken enjoyed cars, listening to music and making model airplanes.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Josephine Benson.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Benson; brothers, Dennis, Doug Haywood, of Portland, Oregon; step-brother, Rod Hewitt.
