Many years ago Tami and I dated, it was for a short time and just before she moved to Arizona.
I remember driving out to Flossmore, met some of her family and complained how far it was, Ha!
When we dated I was in a band called "The Summer Winds", played guitar and lead vocals.
Tami had a bubbly personality and a great laugh...I never forgot her, even now some 40+ years ago, I have fond memories.
On one of her trips back to Chicago she got in touch with me and we had lunch...it was great to see her.
Today, I thought to look her up just to say hello and as I write, I'm extremely saddened to learn of her passing away and I send condolences to everyone in her family.
My name is Ron Hawking, ronhawking.com
I'm still singing and performing and hold a special memory of Tami in my heart and I thought you should know she was a wonderful lady.
Sincerely,
Ron Hawking

Tami was always with me, even though we did not see each other for 40 plus years, when I finally found her again it was as if we had never been apart ,.I will miss her every day. God blessed us with her laugh and her generosity and her smile and her kindness. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
Tami, I love you. I know we will find each other again in a better place. Walk with God.
