Dad, tonight I started crying and couldn't stop. Your ashes arrived in the mail today. I was so happy to finally have them with me, but the thought came over me that you're really gone. Of course I've known you've been gone over a year now, but it just really hit me. I feel like nobody else will love me like you did. You protected me and were there no matter what and without you I just feel lost. I miss you so much, I just want to talk to you again. I LOVE YOU DADDY.

Dad, I miss you so much. Tomorrow will be two weeks and it feels like everyday that goes by, is getting harder without you. The reality of life without you in it is devastating.
