Obituary of Jane Cline

Dorothy Jane Cline, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on March 28, 2017. She was born on December 14, 1934 in Landis Township, New Jersey to her parents, John and Dorothy Goodman. She was 82 years of age. Jane grew up with three brothers and was quite the tom-boy. She was known to catch a 75 mph fastball. She was a talented horse rider who could handle a horse as well as she handled her brothers. Jane met her future husband, Richard Cline, at an Army dance at Fort Dix. They were married on November 12, 1955. Richard went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2005. Jane and Richard loved to camp together as a family and enjoyed family get togethers on the weekends at her parents blueberry farm. She loved her church, loved her family, and especially her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as they were the center of her life. She taught her children and grandchildren the value and meaning of family, following her mother's example. Jane is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard; parents, John and Dorothy Goodman; brothers, Jay Goodman and Robert "Zeke" Goodman. She is survived by her sons, Richard "Rick" (Cecily) Cline Jr. and James "Jim" Cline; daughters, Deborah "Debbie" (Vincent) Maglione and Sharon "Sherrie" (Jeffrey) Swansey; brother, James "Sam" Goodman; six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 12:00pm on April 8, 2017 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow, at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm.
