Obituary of Pauline Jeanne Gauthier

Pauline J. Gauthier, 86, of Lake Havasu City AZ, passed away on February 20, 2017, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Albert and Mathilda Arsenault, February 16, 1931, in Berlin, NH. Pauline graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1949. She married Gerard E. Gauthier in 1949, and they lived together in New Hampshire for fifty-one years before retiring to Lake Havasu City. Pauline was a homemaker for twenty-one years and then entered the work force working in accounting until she retired in 1993. She was passionate about family and helping others, involved in her church, and spread her love for Jesus throughout her community, wherever she lived. She singlehandedly created a ministry knitting prayer shawls for those sick or terminally ill. For those attending Pauline's funeral, we ask that you bring your shawl to honor her ministry. Pauline is survived by her husband, Gerard E. Gauthier of Lake Havasu City, AZ; six children: Georges Gauthier, of Bethlehem, PA; Monique Savage, of Merrimack, NH; Paulette Godbout, of Las Vegas, NV; Susanne Gauthier, of Vallejo, CA; Pauline Roy, of Nashua, NH and Paul Gauthier, of Gilford, NH. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five step grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017; the burial will take place immediately following at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens; as well as, a Funeral Reception in the Holy Angels Parish Hall.
