Dorothy "Dottie" Romano, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on March 7, 2017. She was born to Edward and Dora Sevenish on November 12, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was 83 years of age. Dorothy grew up in Indiana and moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she met her future husband, Frank. They married in 1952 and had six children. She was a Navy wife, and Dorothy, Frank, and their family got the chance to travel and move all over the West Coast making Lake Havasu City, Arizona their permanent residence for the past sixteen years. Dorothy had many interests in life, including her passion of art, painting, drawing children and working in a carnival for a few years and she loved it! She was also a member of the VFW Auxillary and the Art Guild. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Frank Romano; daughter, Dottie Jean Romano; grandson, Stuart Malcolm. She is survived by sons, Frank Romano, of Orange, California and Michael Romano, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; daughters, Deane Leonard, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Debra Malcolm, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Laurie Ortkiese, of Louisville, Kentucky; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a loving mother and wonderful woman who will be truly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 2:00PM at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
