Robert C. "Bobby" Scholl, 84, passed away February 12, 2017. He was born on June 12, 1932 to parents, Edwin Scholl and Catherine (Aufman) Scholl. Bobby was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, "Go Cubs!" He attended St. Michaels School. He loved being an altar boy and singing in the choir. He served in the Korean War. As a Navy veteran, he served four years active duty and 31 years in the reserves. Bobby was a pioneer of the Hoffman Estates Fire Department where he proudly dedicated 36 years of service. Bobby was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Elks and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed dancing, golfing and fishing. He was a doting father and loving grandfather to many. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Anne (Murphy) Scholl; sons, Andrew Scholl, Greg (Ricki) Scholl, Kevin (Amy) Murphy and Robert Ward, as well as, daughters, Susan Elquinni, Camae Collins, Christina (Joe) Welch and Josephine Murphy. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Catherine Scholl. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is intended for all those who lent support through cards, donations and meals to be said at a later date. Rosary service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2:00PM with visitation until 5PM. Mass will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 1975 Daytona Avenue, Lake Havasu City, Arizona at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent to St. Patrick Fathers, 8422 W. Windsor Ave., Chicago, IL 60656-4252. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
