Lewis Frank Pacific, of Lake Havasu City, passed away peacefully at this home on February 7, 2017. He was born to Frank and Helen Pacifico on April 14, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. He was 84.
In his early years, Lewis would work in his father's neighborhood grocery store. Another family business found him helping his dad hand craft carpenter levels out of a small shop in Roseville Michigan. As a high schooler, he attended the distinguished Cass Tech college prep where he studied drafting and tool making.
In 1953, Lewis married Dolly Durham. Together they raised their five children in Riverside, California except for the three years they spent abroad in Australia. As a Tool and Die maker Lewis was a lifetime member of the Huntington Beach IAMAW Machinist Union. Lewis also own and operated two different fast food restaurants, one in Riverside and the other in Corona California. Upon his retirement at the Boeing Company, Lewis and Dolly settled into the good life in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Always the ever-present father and husband, Lewis's passion was watching his sons play sports where he never missed a game and often attended practices. In his later years he most enjoyed spending quality time relaxing with his daughter Pam.
Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen Pacifico and his oldest child, Louis.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Dolly Pacific; children: Pam Pacific, Frank Pacific, Daniel Pacific, Tim Pacific; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. His beautiful smile and quiet compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
