I knew Melvyn in the 70's at DeVry. I actually met him in Chicago at DeVry and we both transferred to DeVry Phoenix together. I was looking him up when I found his obituary. He was a great friend. I had the opportunity to attend one of the great concerts in the 70's with him. We drove all night from Chicago with another student Leroy Brown. A day I am sure I will always remember. The most incredible and influential man in my life. He taught me many things that molded me into the man and martial artist I am today. You may be gone, but you will live on.
