Obituary of Beverly Ann Reiser

Please share a memory of Beverly to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Beverly was born in Houlton, Maine, on July 26, 1935. Her parents, Otto and Marion Niles, raised Beverly in the Houlton area where she graduated and obtained her first job at a local movie theatre. Beverly met the love of her life, Fred, and they married July 7, 1955, while he was enlisted in the United States Air Force. Beverly was a homemaker, following Fred's career changes from the United States Air Force to the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC. In 1978, they retired to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. They began cruising to see parts of the world, as well as traveling to England, Ireland, and Scottland. Beverly, 81, passed away on January 8, 2017, surrounded by family and close friends. Beverly was a gracious individual, who believed in loyalty and treating others kindly. She remained lifelong friends with individuals she met while living on the East Coast, and made numerous more upon her move to the West Coast. No matter what ailed her, she never complained. She was a good listener and always was concerned about others. Beverly was always there for her kids and grandkids, loving the time that she spent with them. Beverly's kind and gentle ways will be truly missed. Beverly is survived by her sister, Diane (Elwood) Scott, Houlton, Maine; daughters Karen Staples, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Valerie (Brian) Smith, Lake Havasu City, Arizona; Grandsons Matthew and Daniel Foster. Beverly was preceded in death by her spouse, Frederick J. Reiser Jr.; parents, Otto and Marion Niles, Houlton, Maine. A Double Interment Memorial will be held at the Prescott National Cemetery, with Military Honors, on February 24, 2017, at 2:00 pm for Frederick and Beverly Reiser. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the Reiser family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
