Dear Nellie and family: Today Bev Martin sent us the obituary for our friend Ernie. We are saddened to hear that he has gone on before us. However, we think the angels are celebrating and that they will be safer in his presence. I met Ernie through my work place and Don met him on the construction site by the river. In both instances it was immediate acceptance and friendship. Ernie was a true gentleman, advocate for whatever position he was serving, and a loyal friend. I remember him talking about his children and bragging on his beloved grandchildren. He was up for an adventure and fun to be with. There was never a dull moment in his presence. It was an honor to have Ernie and you as friends. It was a honor to have crossed paths on our journeys. To all of your family - please know that we care. Don and Vona Burch
