Ann R. Schneider
Passed: February 24, 2013 at her home in Lake Havasu City after a lengthy illness.
Ann was born July 18, 1934 in Hamden, CT to William & Frances Pluff, later adopted and raised by Howard & Dorothy Marvin. She lived most of her adult life in Hollywood CA with her husband of many years, Charles Schneider. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, the American Legion and the VFW. Ann earned her private pilot license in 1983 and owned her own airplane, which she flew at every opportunity. She belonged to the 99's Club, which is a club of female pilots. She was also an accomplished crochetier and made many lovely things for all newborns in her family. An avid reader, she spent much of her spare time reading mystery novels, and keeping in touch with all her family and friends on the computer.
Ann is survived by her two sisters, Marion Reid of Palm Harbor, FL and Claire Poff of Lake Havasu City; her step-son Jay Schneider and his wife Patricia of Los Angeles, CA; her daughters-in-law, Terry Schneider of Los Angeles, CA and Georgine Schneider of San Francisco, CA; also her very special friends, Sandy Jones of Maricopa, AZ, and Carol Zimostrad of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, Charles, who passed away in 1997; her twin sons, Russell & Daniel, who passed away in their 40's; and her step-son, Barry Schneider.
We will all miss her very much but are also relieved that she is finally free of all the pain and suffering that she endured for the last year.
We all love you, Ann, and will always remember you. Thank you for being in our lives.
