Obituary of Kenneth Elliott

Kenneth "Al" Elliott passed away January 1, 2017 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 85. He was born to Harmond and Azalea (Dickson) Elliott on September 30, 1931 in Washington, D.C.
"Al" was proud to have served his country in the United States Navy, Seabees from which he retired a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. During his service he was stationed all over the world from the North Pole during a Deep Freeze Operation to the Antartica, as well as Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, and numerous other ports. He enjoyed racing dirt bikes, cars, camping and reading. Hot rods were a passion of his and he was written up in Hot Rod Magazine for cars and trucks he had built from the frame up. He could fix anything, invent anything and was fondly known as "MacGyver" amongst his friends and neighbors.
"Al" is preceded in death by his parents; Harmon and Azalea Elliott, and his step-son; Randall J. Cook.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 47 years; Toby Price Elliott, his daughters; Mona Carico and Karen Cook Valdez and daughter in law; Cindy Hatch Cook, his grandchildren; Aaron Esmael, Jaime Cook, Dan Dela Cruz, Niel Dela Cruz and Jena Rosa (Joe) as well as four great-grandchildren.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, to please make donations to Hospice of Havasu or Western Arizona Humane Society.
