My condolences to all of Irene's family. Irene was a wonderful special lady whom I so admired. With much sadness I have not seen or talked to Irene in several years.(My loss)! I am also one of her Sorority Sisters. I know what an awesome Mother she was. I remember sitting in her kitchen visiting with her while she was cooking up something special for Allen's lunch. She was going to take it to him on his job site. She said how much she loved doing special things for her children.
While I personally did not know Irene's sons I do know Rae Ann and Jerry. Jerry, I used to do alterations for you and Irene when you two first met. You and Irene started traveling and I lost touch. Rae Ann, I have seen you now and then here in town. I cannot express how sorry I am. If you need to talk or need anything please call me. I am keeping you all in my prayers. May our Heavenly Father give you comfort at this time.
