Obituary of Jean Harnisch

Jean Violet Harnisch passed away on February 28, 2013 at her residence in Lake Havasu City at the age of 78. Jean was born on May 8, 1934 in Mundelein, Illinois to Arthur and Vivian (Umbdenstock) Kruckenberg. Jean resided in Parkston, South Dakota and had been spending her winters in Lake Havasu City for the past 24 years. She was a retired farm wife and was an active member in her Lutheran Churches where she lived. Jean is survived by her sons Kevin Harnisch of Minneapolis, MN; Keith Harnisch of Omaha, NE; and Kent Harnisch of Sioux Falls, S.D.; daughters Kris Weber of Dennison, Iowa and Karla Ripp of Parkston, S.D.; brothers George Kruckenberg, James Kruckenberg, Ken Kruckenberg and Chet Kruckenberg, all of Harvard, Illinois; Vic Kruckenberg of Sunnyvale, CA; and sister Eileen Anderson also of Harvard, Illinois, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as many dear friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the Koehn Brothers Funeral Home in Parkston, S.D. Funeral services will follow on Thursday March 7, 2013 with interment to follow at the Parkston Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Jean's name to The Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2791 Inca Drive, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406.
