Obituary of Geraldine Marie Byrne

Geraldine "Geri" "Nana" Byrne, 82, went to be with her Lord November 22, 2016. Geri was born on June 5, 1934 in Lawrence, MA to Frank and Katherine Phair. Geri was known to her family as Nana and to the public she was known as "The lady with no shoes who talks to everyone". She would be seen at Rotary Park walking the beach and talking with everyone. She attended all the functions in Lake Havasu and everyone would be seen talking with her. If you were sick her cure for everything was, a bran muffin, cod-liver oil or fish oil. Every year she would travel by train with her husband Bob, to Salisbury, MA. to visit with her family. She loved the train and enjoyed being with people from different walks of life. Her beautiful smile will be missed dearly. Geri was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Katherine Phair and brothers Billy Phair and Frankie Phair. She leaves behind her loving husband, best friend and soul mate, Robert Byrne; sons, Robert (Joni) Byrne, James (Angel) Byrne; daughters, Gail (Anthony) Miranda, Angelique Byrne; brothers, Alan (Jan) Phair, Bob Phair; sisters, Patsy Ball, Kathy Minihan, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life, Saturday December 10, 2016 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 21 Riviera Blvd. Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 with a Memorial gathering to follow.
