Marcella Minar, passed away on November 22, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Joseph Randall and Mary Steffen on April 28, 1930 in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Marcella was married to LeRoy Minar on November 27, 1950. They spent 30 years in Seattle raising their five children. They later relocated to Everett, Washington for 12 years. They enjoyed the sunshine of Arizona, and became winter visitors to Lake Havasu City since early 1990's. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary three weeks before his passing in December 2000. Marcella spent her working career as a seamstress. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Our Lady's Rosary Makers. Marcella loved playing cards and making Rosaries with her loving family of friends through the church. She is survived by her sons, Jarman (Karen) Minar, Jeffery (Alisa) Minar, and Joel (Jean) Minar, of Washington: daughters, Janelle (Gordon) Kortlever, of Washington, and Jolene Jensen, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sister, Leona Johnson, of, North Dakota; brothers, Frank Randall, of Minnesota, and Ken Randall of Minnesota; twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Rosary will be Friday at 4:00pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oremus Rosary Makers at Our Lady of the Lake, 1975 Daytona Avenue, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, 86403.
